Who we are
Delve is a personal expense tracker operated by Vladimir Vashnev, an individual in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
This policy explains what information Delve collects, why it is used, and the choices you have. It covers the Delve website at get-delve.app, the installed app, and email we send about your account.
For questions about this policy or your information, email hi@get-delve.app.
Information we collect
Account details when you sign in with Google or email: your email address, display name, a Firebase user id, and the sign-in provider you used. On the mobile app, a guest account can be created when you save your first wallet. That account stays marked as a guest until you link Google or email.
Records you add: transactions, wallets, budgets, categories, tags, notes, and currency settings.
Preferences: language, country, and currencies. A timezone cookie stores your local timezone so dates match your local day.
Delve Pro status, including whether a subscription is active and which store it came from. Apple, Google Play, or Stripe handles the payment. Delve does not store your card number.
A push notification token, only if you turn notifications on.
Messages you send to the developer from inside the app.
How we use information
We use this information to run Delve: to save and sync your records across devices, to show budgets and insights, to keep you signed in, and to remember your language and timezone.
We send account and budget email through Postmark, such as a welcome message or a notice when a budget is close to its limit.
If you open Delve from a tracked link, we store a visit referral so we can see which links bring people to the product.
We do not sell your personal information.
AI summaries
If you ask for an AI spending summary, Delve sends Google Gemini the text needed to write it. That can include category names, amounts, and the date range you selected.
Summaries are estimates to help you look at your spending. They are not financial, tax, or investment advice.
Service providers
Other companies process information only so they can provide their service to Delve.
Google Firebase handles sign-in and push notifications.
MongoDB Atlas stores your account and expense records.
Postmark sends email.
RevenueCat, together with Apple, Google, and Stripe, manages Delve Pro subscriptions.
Google Gemini generates AI summaries when you request them.
Cookies and similar storage
A session cookie keeps you signed in.
A language cookie remembers English or Russian.
A timezone cookie keeps transaction dates on your local day.
A visit referral cookie is set when you open Delve from a tracked link.
A flag records whether Delve is installed on your home screen.
These are used to run the product. Delve does not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep your account and the records you enter for as long as the account exists.
If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or de-identify the personal information tied to it, except where we must keep a record for a legal reason or to resolve a dispute.
Short-lived technical logs and email delivery records are kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the service.
Your choices and rights
You can update your name, language, and currency preferences in the app.
You can turn off push notifications in your device settings.
You can ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion by emailing hi@get-delve.app. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you.
Where local law gives you additional rights, we will honor the requests that apply to Delve.
International processing
Vladimir Vashnev is in Kazakhstan. The providers listed above may process information in other countries, including the United States and the European Union, where their servers are located.
Children
Delve is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email hi@get-delve.app and we will delete it.
Security
We protect information with Firebase sign-in, access checks on your account, and encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Delve changes. The date at the top of this page is the date of the latest version. If a change is significant, the updated policy will be posted on this page.
